I reread this whole thread again and I'm convinced, since the original poster is in MA, that the heirloom he's referring to is one that Tony Neves gave to the man who owned Neptune's Harvest in MA, near Boston asI recall, in return for fertilizer.

The last time organicnut posted at Tville was in May of 2006 if you check his statistics.

So I don' t think any seeds will be coming this way.

I dug up an old thread at Gardenweb (2007) that lists Organic Nut's email address, if anyone would like to try it. It's listed about half way down the thread.

I'm with Carolyn, and believe this tomato is likely Neves Azorean Red. Since I can sum up my opinion of NAR in two words..."best red", I have no interest in tracking down what may or may not be the same tomato.
