Default First Cherry

Today I got the first cherry tomato off the ‘Red Robin’. The first fresh tomato of the year and it was tasty, too. Thin skin and a balanced flavor.

Here are two of the three ‘Whippersnapper’ plants. I’m still amazed at how many blooms these suckers have! I've been using the tip I read in here about using a cheapie electric toothbrush for pollination and it seems to be working. I hope the tomatoes taste as nice as the Red Robin.

Looking good. Red Robin is my favourite-tasting micro .

I grew Whippersnapper once and I found the taste disappointingly acidic, but I'll be interested to hear what you think of it.
