They first collect $$

That should be complete by next Monday. At that point they send me all the contact info, and I start sending out questionnaires (when needed).

If the rewards due are available. I start sending them out. Others will go out in February, once the Benevento seed production has finished and I have the seed packed up.

If you signed up, the reward you listed should have a delivery date listed.

Thank you! I shall look forward to growing out both the Bennevento and the Rainbow Jazz. I pledged enough for the Bennevento that I should be able to offer some plants next spring, as well as the Rainbow Jazz ones.

I sure hope not, LOL. I do wish to ask, since when I sell plants there are no fruits to show, if I could have permission to use the pictures of the tomatoes on my signs for them?

This is a big week for the Benevento (formerly Lecce) Kickstarter project. Rewards start going out. All focus is on the project for the next few days.

Kickstarter ended, but Benevento will be available at www.growartisan.com in February

Fred - that is a beautiful tomato. I saw you posted 3 weeks ago that the kickstarter rewards we going out - I assume that means the seeds were available. Any chance the seeds will be available from your website before Feb or better yet in December?

Floridian here so February is late except for the heat varieties.

Otherwise, next season for me.

Thanks Barb

It's a pity, I participated in Kikstarter, but I didn't want seeds. Maybe I'd get them sooner and forward them to you. Otherwise, thanks again for forwarding those Mountaineer seeds.

Well, let me know if you want anything else. Or Benevento seeds for friends with larger gardens.

If you want two different things that are not combined as rewards, you can just pledge the amount of both, choose one of the rewards, and tell me which other reward you want. You could do that through a message here, but it is better to submit the second reward you want when it comes time for me to gather information through kickstarter.
I was just thinking about this again today....

How many generations must the parents (heirlooms/ true breeding OP's) be grown out to be considered 100% true breeding? Is there an industry standard?

Also, even once a cultivar is considered to be true breeding don't some irregularities occur?

Sorry if i'm being over meticulous, i'm just curious.

Thanks.
