When I was a kid I sold seed packets for .10/pkt and they had a handful of seeds. Now these Monsanto profit driven, food supply takeovers, are charging ridiculous prices for a couple seeds. If you save your own seeds from OP varieties you can supply the whole neighborhood with seed from a couple tomatoes.

Deb- forgot you asked me a question. I think July 1 is way too late to be setting out tomato plants in SoCal but if you think it will help, by all means give it a go.
