Default Wild Wonder Tomatoes

I may have posted about these before but the 2 lb containers of Wild Wonders Tomatoes is worth the $6. A very welcomed mid winter treat. We've gotten 3 so far this winter and the flavor is actually pretty good. I'd recommend getting your fix from these guys!

We did a little taste test of each kind. All are fairly firm, although the pink and yellow less so. All are juicy, some have more acid/tartness than others, while others offer a bit more sweetness. I think I'd rank the tomatoes in the following order for my preferences: pink, purple, orange, yellow, red. But they are not striking different.

And the pinks have those little white spots you can see in this picture.

I buy similar stuff from Trader Joes. One pond box for $3. They call theirs "Mini Heirloom:. But I doubt it .
They are mostly tough skinned and chewy. Of course they are grown for retail w/ long shelf life.
