Hi all,
It's been a while since I posted, but I was wondering if everything is OK with Tatiana (of the famous TomatoBase). She's had the same message on the homepage of her site for a couple years at least. Hoping the move was successful and she and her family are doing OK. If anyone has news that is OK to share, I'd appreciate it. |

Last I knew she and husband Stan retired from the seed business and were concentrating on their new home and land. Tania does post every once in a while on Facebook and it sounds to me they are doing well. I have not heard about any health problems.

Tatiana and her husband Stan live on the farm where they moved. They mainly grow chickens and hens, and Tatiana breeds this breed with love and is happy. Tatiana really enjoys it even though life there is very difficult, harsh region, harsh weather and work from early morning to evening. Every day he writes something and gives photos on Facebook. He still grows a lot of tomatoes (even new varieties from Russia), but he no longer expects to trade in seeds. She feels very well in health, only yesterday she was in town for an eye examination (at will for cataracts). As for tatiana´s TOMSATObase, I still have access to it and sometimes I put some new descriptions or pictures there. I think some new varieties deserve to be there. After all, it is such a bible for all tomato growers.

Thank you for the news! I'm so glad she and Stan are doing well. The tomatobase is still my go-to any time I want to research varieties. I'm grateful you still update there, Vladimir.

Has anyone been able to access Tatiana's Tomatobase recently? I've been trying for about a week without success, and I sure do miss it. I hope all is well with them.
