Garf, I grew some plants on my porch this winter with a little success. I only had to spray a mild bleach on them once but I fought spider mites and aphids all winter. We had very little sunshine and as a result very few blooms and very slow growth with few fruit. Now that the weather has turned warmer and the sun has been shining the plants that are still alive have started growing fast and blooming once again. I hope to be putting out a few plants into the garden this week but they are only volunteers that sprang up in the pots on the porch.
