It says "Non Treated" --- Which Doesn't mean that It Is Organic!!!

From the top of Reimer's HOME page:

" We do not sell any Genetically Modified seeds. This year we have made notation which items are treated or non-treated seeds, for those who want to order only non-treated seeds."

For what its worth,

Jim

52 days. Cucumis sativus. (F1) Early producing plant produces high yields of green pickling type cucumbers. A crunchy variety perfect as a slicer or used for making chips, spears, and whole pickles. A predominately female variety which allows it to set fruit without a pollinator and almost seedless if kept isolated from other cucumbers. Excellent for home gardens and market growers. Disease Resistant: Bacterial Wilt. pk/20

Be aware that Reimer's doesn't have the best reputation here at TV.

They have been known to sell old seed with questionable germination and occasionally mislabeled seed. There is a thread or 2 in the seed sources forum.

As far as the sugar beet seed, you might be able to find some locally at a "farm store" that does stuff for wildlife plots.Sugar beets are often planted for Deer.

There are manyplaces that list County Fair cukes. I had to do a Google search b'c from reading my seed catalogs I couldn't remember which places sold it.

I agree completely with Carol and that is I would never buy anything from Reimers, just too many messups with seeds and descriptions and low germination, especially with peppers.

I have ordered from Reimers over the years, Often plants and have always been satisfied. I use them, since they often have not so common products. Also they are reasonably close to me, so this might be why I have had such good results- no shipping damage.
