Lucid Gem is the only one I will give garden space to. Not my favorite tomato, but it is a beauty to look at and has good, not great taste. I have grown a lot of anthos over the years and other than looks, not worth growing. I used to sell a lot of anthos to a farm to table market (who resold them), but I currently only grow the best tasting to me.

For those that have never found a great tasting "antho" tomato I strongly recommend Rebel Starfighter Prime. I grew it for the first time this last season and wow! Not only is it beautiful the flavor is outstanding.

I may sound a bit old-fashioned, but I am coming back to red toms this year. I tried some antho varieties last year and they didn't do well when attacked by late blight, which came so early that I didn't even have a chance to taste the anthos properly. Phythophthora infestans is a regular unwelcome guest in my garden, but last year was the worst I remember. And I realized that all I needed and wanted was lb resistant varieties. Been searching low and high, but only found a few and all of them are red.

Are there any antho varieties that are, apart from being tasty, also late blight resistant? I don't require high yield or great looks.

I decided to try Sart Roloise this year. Anyone have input on this one?

‘Sart Roloise’ is one of the most interesting anthocyanin varieties. Created by Roland Boulanger in 2012, Sart Eustache, Belgium. He crossed the large white beefsteak ‘White Wonder’ with an anthocyanin cherry tomato ‘Baby Blue’ and received a very impressive and very tasty variety: large white beefsteak type fruits with a dark purple antho shoulders. Firm and dense flesh, sweet and juicy, with a good touch of acidic. Excellent tomato taste. Indeterminate, regular leaf plants are very strong and healthy, growing up to 2 meters and are very good producers. Fruits weigh about 200-350g. Days to maturity is about 75-80 days from transplant to the first harvest.

Shapshftr, usually white fruited varieties and anthos are out of real tomato flavour. So I can't imagine this nice looking creamy-antho mix variety to be tasty) Any comments from somebody you has an experience with this tom?

Andrey, all I have to go by is the description.

"sweet and juicy, with a good touch of acidic. Excellent tomato taste"

We grew these last year. I sold most of them as plants at the Farmer's Market, but we put one in a container and grew it out. I think it tasted good. It was sweet with a kind of citrus-y undertone. My mom thought it was pineapple-ish rather than citrus like. She loved it.

I also had a customer who bought one come back and tell me how good it was. Bearing in mind that customers generally only mention things they really really like or really really don't like. So some of the other people who bought them might think they're just so/so.

We saved a bunch of seeds from it and we're growing it again this year.

Any growing and taste feedback about white+anyho tomato varieties so far?
Great White Purple, Great White Blues, White Purple Cherry etc.

I have a new white bicolour With a dark antho cap on the shoulder.
Flavour was surprisingly good and sweet.
F3 this year.
Regular leaf plants smaller beefsteak that grows in clusters.
I think it’s quite interesting and I don’t know if other white + bicolour antho beefsteaks.
Working on some others as well.
