Default Downspout Rainwater.

http://www.durgan.org/URL/?SSCLP 22 March 2012 Rainwater barrels connected to downspout.
The four drums connected to the house downspout. There is a total of 200 US gallons of water. The connections are removed in the Fall and the barrels emptied to prevent freezing. The barrels are supported by fence posts in slings. There is one connection and basically the system is sealed, hence no mosquitoes. Overflow is through the large bung. Many barrels could be connected in tandem if required. I move the water by wheelbarrow. The fittings are all standard off the shelf from any hardware store.
