Fuzzy Wuzzy
Does anyone have any info on this variety? I recieved it in a trade from Belgium and can find little reference to it on the internet. It might be red and gold striped?
The seedlings are fuzzy and cute. |

Det, said to be super fuzzy plants, 1.5 inch pointed and striped red and yellow fuzzy fruits, tart excellent flavor, juicy flesh, good for container growing; this person from OR and seed source was Peters Seed and Research here in the US, who say seeds from Peter Bauens in Belgium. Ake in Sweden who never says much, says bush plant, 25 gm fruits, red with orange stripes and says nada about fuzzy anything.

Thanks Carolyn, That helps. If it is a compact plant I'll have to move it ito a different spot in the garden. I screwed up last year not knowing how tall Earl of Edgcombe grew and it barely reached to the bottom of my trellis and was flanked by two huge varieties

I grew it last year in a container: really nice looking plant and fruits, something to snuggle because of the fuzzy leaves, but rather tasteless... more an eyecatcher and for decoration. Looks nice on a windowsill!
