I tried Orange Strawberry in 2019. One of my seedlings had potato leaves and clear epidermis, but everything else seemed identical to the regular (true to type) Orange Strawberry.
The PL seedling produced 9 kg of beautiful and delicious tomatoes. It's impressive in my setup, considering that I do not irrigate at all (I mulch) and that I do not have long growing season. They started being ripe at about 80 days after transplantation and production stopped on the healthy PL plant following a hard frost. |

In my 2019 garden my two best tasting varieties were Polish & German Head. Both produced more than 70 tomatoes per plant. They both will repeat in 2020.

Two that have been consistent over the last few years for me are:
1. Ananas Noir (If I could only grow one, this would be it, large, best flavor IMHO, super productive no matter where I put it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think it's gorgeous) 2. Lucid Gem. 2 years in a row, outstanding production and flavor |

I have not grown many of those mentioned but for me I love Daniel Burson just because its taste is very good but it also is very productive. I can count on it to give me an great tomato every single day of my tomato season.

Yes, I saved seeds from PL plant. Maybe I should immediately germinate some seeds to see if they are PL. But I think potato leaves are a recessive trait, so I guess seeds harvested from a PL plant should give a PL offspring.
