Default who is stealing my cucumbers?

I need help figuring out who steals my little cucumbers. I've been growing cucumbers in my garden for years and never had this problem. My female flowers along with small cucumbers disappear - you can tell the stem was bitten off. I put a birds netting around the container and it didn't help. I'm very confused at this point - birds can't get in, squirrels can't get in, what else left? Any ideas?
