My wife was telling me that there was a precinct vehicle about a half mile from our house yesterday. They were fixing road signs that some idiots had twisted around backwards and one was pushed over. Every year around this time, they start messing with signs and mailboxes. It used to happen to our mailboxes, but over the past ten years, it has gone from one house near the road to four houses. People used to dump unwanted cats and dogs here, but not since the new houses are there now.

Must be the season. The town where I work has had several street where all the mailboxes have been trashed over the last week or so.

Out in the sticks where I used to live people would shoot them with shotguns and rifles.

I called the post office they said that I had to come down and fill out a card to get mail here.
So I beat feet from Austin and made it 10 minutes before they lock the doors.
I filled out the card and low and behold when I got home in about 10 more minutes I had junk mail waiting for me.
Not that is what I call service.

Junk mail is delivered to any box, even abandoned homes so the carriers can unload that junk.

Can't explain it
I HATE MAIL.
Its irrational, when Mrs Nematode opens it I have to leave, cant stand the sound of envelopes opening. Fingernails on a chalk board , no problem. Envelopes opening, makes me a little nuts.

Have a camp in NH with no mailbox. Its perfect, except that its 12 degrees now.

Too rocky to dig a post hole anyway, if I did the frost would heave it cockeyed by spring.

Good job Worth.

If people would send more checks and less bills I could change my mind.

You just made me log in to my insurance to make sure I paid it.
I did.

I find it sad that my new mail box lost it's virginity to junk mail, one for booze.
