2013 Sand Hill sweet potatoes
Sand Hill has just posted their 2013 sweet potato catalog on line if anyone is interested in what they are offering this year.

Thanks for the heads-up. Glenn and Linda are the best people and have a remarkable assortment.
I hope other folks will wait for a couple of days until I get my order together! Lee |

I love Sweet Potatoes but I am new to growing them. Can anyone recommend a dry type that is really sweet? I just recently tried one of the dry flesh types and really liked it. Thanks.

The white varieties have been drier for me. I especially like them just baked with butter, salt and pepper. Ivis Whit Cream is a good one, early season, and Sand Hill carries it.

Try Yellow Jersey, Poplar Root, or Korean Purple for relatively dry and sweet.
