I know that feeling well. Plus, I find that other people donate seeds to me even unsolicited. Last few years my grow lists have included many of those just because I have them. Too many seeds is a common problem.

I started 3 seeds from the packet you sent me as soon as they arrived. All 3 germinated, and have their 2nd set of leaves. I up potted to 4 inch pots last night. I plan to set out in the garden March 25th. They will be young plants (4-5 weeks), but what the heck. I might get lucky with a cooler summer.

Closing Offer
The offer is now closed.
With spring approaching, I won't have much time or energy to field requests. But if you like Dona F1, keep your eyes open again next year. In all there were 16 responses and all followed through with a SASE. All requests were filled, barring any losses in the mail (none that I know of). Distributed 120 seeds at a cost of $41.60. This includes substantial shipping and documentation charges, which would have been proportionally less for a large "agribiz" order of several thousand seeds and, of course, would not have applied at all if these were available domestically. Enjoy. |

Set out my first Dona F1 with Dona F2 in the same cage should be an interesting comparison.
Thanks again for the seeds. I would be glad to co-sponsor a future order. |

I have a six pak of Dona F2s. In fact the clump I planted with the F1 had two in it. Hope to get lots of photos of F2s including comparisons with F1s. Unfortunately getting a supply of F2s (if they turn out well) is dependent on having F1s. F3s, etc. may be more divergent.

Steven........As I posted earlier I started 3 of the Dona seeds you sent me. I received your seeds on the 25th of Feb, and I promptly planted them in a started plug, and planted them into the garden in a container approx March 24th. This is a late date in Texas in my opinion, but I thought I would give it a try. I am happy to report the plants are doing well in fact I can see the first flowers appear. Once again I would like to thank you. I am anxious to try a Dona tomato since I have heard such good things about this variety.
