Comstock Sauce and Slice tomato
Just wondering if anyone here has grown this variety? If so, what did you think of it?
I'm trying to cut back on the number of different varieties I grow next year, but already, I can tell it wont be easy LOL. |

I wasn't expecting much response to this, as it seems like an obscure variety.
I think I'll be ordering it, and see how it does. |

Not that obscure see above link, but when I opened the first link to Baker Creek there was a yellow fruit although they described the variety as being red. I didn't check any of the other links that had the name of the variety in the description. Carolyn

Thanks Carolyn.
Baker's Creek is where I'd likely be ordering it from. I noticed the yellowish fruit in the pic(not the "deep red" in the description). I'm wondering if the tomatoes pictured are just not ripe, or if it's the wrong pic for the variety. I guess I could email someone there. |
