I've tried hundreds at this point, and this one made me perk up. Minimal-tiny seeds, crunchy, flavor bite, this one has a permanent slot. The darker ones.

Negro de Moratalla, what is the size of that tomato? It is not easy with the pictures to see it they are small globe or big cherry.

What makes them so unique?

A crunchy Purple Reign is the best way I can describe it. Reminiscent of Kumato. The black tomato bite, zero mushiness, a two bite endeavor.

Guano came up in another thread and I remembered that plants love it in tea form

So this is the 2nd batch:
Organics Alive Soil Amendment
+
Buus Biodynamic Compost
+
Guano
+
Molasses-light corn syrup
+
36 hrs aeration

1:5 dilution, add Sea Green
Drench

I recall one summer my farmer friend tried a guano product on her tomatoes... the CP's were enormous.

I mean, pretty close to the size of my head kind of enormous.

I have nothing but admiration for those who are willing to brew up stuff for the plants.

I am too lazy.

It's pretty low stress, a set it and forget it type of deal.
Plants really love the stuff, and it helps them power through heatwave and disease.

Wonder where they come up with enough bat guano to sell?! Tropical fruit bat caves?

Too bad I had no way to save the stuff from years of bats living under our house siding

. A large colony got evicted when we replaced the siding a few years ago. The carpenters said they had never seen so many bats! I did feel a bit sorry for them having to fly away into the trees in the middle of the day. I wonder if the guano from insectivorous bats would be different from fruit bats.

It is.
The problem is that as guano is also sold any old seabird poop. And there's a lot of those out there towards colder climates, there's islands covered in the stuff.

The composition of nutrients-microorganisms depends on their diet (fruits vs insects, sea vs land) and who is eating the guano initially. Peruvian, Indonesian, Mexican, Jamaican, each has its particular profile.

Some benefits.:

1 Soil texture and health is improved.

2. The microbes perform bioremediation that clean up toxic chemicals in the soil.

3. The NPK formulation is typically 10-3-1, making it a very desirable fertilizer.

4. Used as a foliar application, it will provide excellent growth and health to plants.

5. Foliar applications help to eradicate fungus problems.

6. The balance of microbes will help control nematode infestation.

7. Acts as a composting activator (nutrients and microbes speed up decomposition).
