Default Are these two pumpkins the same?

I'm reading about Munchkin pumpkins on a UK blog and they look delicious for stuffing and baking. It's a mini pumpkin that can be used for decor or eating and can be trellised.

The closest thing I can find in the US though is Jack Be Little. Are they the same?

Sure looks like it. I see Johnny's sells Munchkin. Our son grows Jack Be Little in his garden, which is by our deck. We let the vines climb up and all over the edge of the deck. There were 3 plants allowed to grow a 'mound' and got about 30-35 little pumpkins. We use them for decoration so I can't comment about the flavor.

I want to grow the Jack Be Little pumpkins this next year, too- they are just the right size for us to use up and supposedly they taste really good, too.

Glad to hear they are productive- I like to get a good return for the space!!

Thank you! That was just the information I needed!

imp...this is the recipe and I saw and went "Oh I must grow these things!"

Munchkin Pumpkin stuffed with Kale, Chorizo and Cream

1 Munchkin Pumpkin
1 Teaspoon of Kale
1 Teaspoon of chopped Chorizo
Extra Thick Cream (any cream will do but I prefer extra thick, it melts down lovely!)
Cut the top of the pumpkin off, trying to keep it as straight as possible. Remove the seeds inside with a spoon and hollow it out. Fill with the kale, chorizo and then add two teaspoons of extra thick cream (or fill nearly to the brim with cream). Replace the pumpkin lid and then roast in the oven for 45 minutes. I can think of so many things to stuff them with! Chili would be so good!
