That is scary stuff.
That's one of the reasons why I refuse to compost "found" yard waste!
Clopyralid does break down in compost but has a half life of up to a year or more, nasty stuff.
I'm a little peeved that it can be purchased on line when it has been "Deregistered" by the manufacturer to use on domestic lawns (wiki)

I no longer buy bails of hay because of the chance of Clopyralid. It is registered for use on hay. The common recommendation is to ask the supplier what herbicides are used if any. I doubt my local supplier knows or could give an accurate answer.

Some of the potting soil is made with Bio Solids, they usually do not list of package so I have been calling around to find which are Bio Solids free. Any tips and suggestions?

It depends on the brand, you're gonna have to do some research. The term "compost" can be a substitute for biosolids.

Ecoscraps is a brand that advertise to not use it. I'm pretty sure a professional brand like ProMix wouldn't use it either.

To avoid biosolids, again buy products with the Organic Materials Review Institute OMRI seal. Biosolids are prohibited under OMRI.

The Mulch & Soil Council (link to pdf) and US Composting Council do not prohibit biosolids.

If you are ok with biosolids, the highest quality is Class A Exceptional Quality. Milorganite falls under this category with strict standards regarding pathogens, metals, odors, and vectors.

I don't care how refined or sterile it is, it's still human sh1t and it makes me sick to think about eating anything that was grown in it.
