Here is a new tomato to me that I traded seeds with KORBELY GEZA from Hungary and it looks like its going to be a great producing plant. Hope to taste these this weekend.

Chuck,

It's been listed in the SSE Yearbooks for a very long time but not many folks have relisted it.

So I really would appreciate some feedback from you on how it compares with other small round reds as to taste and performance.

No doubt Geza is quite the person re collecting tomato varieties and if one looks at his trade list one can see so many that he's acquired from US folks. And almost all on his list, if not available commercially in the US are available thru the SSE Yearbooks to SSE members. Long ago there were exchanges between seed banks in different countries and that's how a lot of varieties ended up at SSE.

Carolyn, I will keep you posted on taste later in the week as I am letting them get good and ripe on the vine before trying them.
I did join SSE in the spring of 1995 and havent used them yet because of all the trades I made on line. It does make for good reading, though. I suspect I will sit down in the fall and pick some new varieties out for next year from it.
Cheers
