Default Staking in Containers

Hi,

I have about 15 plants in various sized containers. Does anyone have any information on the best way to stake with containers? I have a few stakes in each container but I know that wont be enough.

Your help is appreciated.

Kind regards,

Stacey

Default Staking in containers

Stacey,
I use bamboo stakes, eight feet long x one inch in diameter
in all my containers from 2 gallon to 26+ gallon. Cost is about 76 cents each in bulk (50 stakes/bundle) including the freight from A.M Leonard Nursery Supplies in Ohio, They are rot resistant and last me about 7-9 years. Leonard's also has 7 foot x 3/4 inch ones for about 65 cents each in bulk (100 stakes/bundle). They are natural looking and need no painting, just a good car paste wax to protect them. Your choice !!!
Hope this helps,
Spudleaf Willie

Spud-had a problem with herbicide drift from my neighbor on you rgalinas-but reseeded and things are doing ok. Julia is definately pl and my plant is very compact, may qualify as a dwarf. Reminds me of Kimberly, but smaller. Be well, its hot in our part of the usa.

I use cheap wooden stakes around the container, with chicken wire stapled to them.. not pretty but cheap.
