Default Different tomatoes..same plant

Picked these off of the same plant. They are from Early Goliath plants purchased at local greenhouse. Have 4 plants and all produce small & large fruit.
Both sizes taste good, one for sandwiches, one for snacking!
Any explanations?

After asking you some question about which Goliath you were growing, one of the hybrids or the OP heirloom one, I did make some suggestions at the other place where you posted this, but I think I'll just step back and see what folks here haver to say about it.
