The broken leg...that was about the beer, but I got interrupted before I could post it before your meatloaf picture, which looks delicious by the way.

Oh Okay.

I had my share of cheese the other night with my enchiladas so I will forgo it tonight.

The meat loaf is ground chuck, with a can of mixed vegetables in it, one small can of tomato paste, some powdered onion black pepper, a pinch of ground clove, two eggs, a small can of chopped tomatoes, and bread crumbs with bacon drippings brushed on top.

I made it up and have no idea what it will be like.

I do use clove in mushrooms marinating recipe.

It is after 9 pm and 87 degrees outside. Too hot for June night. Thanks for AC.

Clove is one of those spices you love or hate.
If used properly it is fantastic if not it can be real bad.

This has just enough so if you try really really hard you can taste it.

Did not want to discuss some people, not everyone likes fish. Pickled herring is better with clove.

I forgot all about this two foot long Brontosaurus loin I had curing in the refrigerator.
Now I am going to have to smoke the thing.
