My garden area can do 30ish if I really push it. If I actually give them a 3 feet apart I can do 10. Last year I did 8 because I had a beautiful summer squash that will be invited back. Jalapenos were sent to buckets so I could do tomatoes.

Jalapenos in 5 gallon buckets do great! Bell peppers not so much..

I grow 30-60 plants each year.
I start a lot more and give them away.
This year my garden space is larger and I may grow more!

I hope I don't grow over 30 containers this year.
The number was 20 in December but added a few and dropped some til next year . Of course that means many extras for friends, neighbour and even for the thrift shop. Lucky thrifters! Thanks to T'vl my plants are better than ever.
Not counting the 9 micro dwarfs .
