Potting up eggplant in containers - question.

This year I thought I would try to grow some eggplant in containers. I started seeds in peat pellets germinated on my heated bathroom floor. I potted them up after a couple weeks and they have been under the grow lights in pint cups for about a month and are getting huge!

I have never grown eggplant before so my question is: When I pot them up in containers, do I bury them deep like tomatoes or do I keep the same soil level as they are currently?

Every year I grow eggplant ,I bury them the same level as in the solo cup.

I always end up burying part of the stems when I pot up and they do just fine.

I try to plant my eggplant at the same level as they were in their pots. They don't have the same ability as a tomato plant to sprout roots along the length of the stem. There's usually no need to plant them deep if you keep your lighting at a proper height above your plants.
