Southern Exposure has them every fall, as well. Worth growing, IMO. I've grown the yellow and the white, which are smaller.

I didn't know there were two varieties of i'itoi onion's?

They carry multiplier onions. Some years more than one white variety. They always have the yellow ones.

I'itoi is a distinct variety of multiplier onion. SESE carries a number of other multipliers, including potato onions, walking onions and shallots. To my knowledge, they've never carried i'itoi.

Yes, you are correct. I have not seen that particular variety there and I didn't go back to the beginning of this read and read all the way through because it was old. Sorry to have led anyone on a wild goose or onion chase!
