Default Hi, just popped in

It is a long time since I was here , I just popped in to look something up but couldn't leave without saying hello. Some of you may remember me.

Stuff happens, my gardening area is now down to a greenhouse and a couple of raised beds only so not too much to share anymore so I don't come on.

My darling husband of 58 years died a few months ago after many years with Alzheimers, not too much to say about that , no matter how one thinks they are prepared a huge lump of your heart seems to vanish.

I see many familiar names and wish you all well.

XX Jeannine

Good to hear from you again, JA. I'm sorry for your loss of your husband. My father wasted away from Parkinson's and while we didn't want to lose him, we were relieved that he was no longer suffering. Take good care of yourself now! And check in here some more!

Hi again Jeannine Anne A smaller garden and a greenhouse is easier to keep up with.

I am very sorry to read that you lost your husband.

My grandmother had Alzheimer's Disease for years too, and she lived with us some of those years.

And now that you are here please continue to stop by often, and post whenever you wish to.

Share with us what you are doing to keep busy and also updating us on what you are growing this summer, yes,I know you said not very much,BUT I find that starting from small seeds, seeing them germinate, watching them grow, etc.,is very comforting to me.

Even though I'm totally home bound now and have to look out to the backyard where someone else is growing my stuff, yes STUFF, so I don't have to give details on what STUFF is out there.

Nice to see you Jeannine! And so sorry to hear of your loss.
A smaller garden, still please share a little of what you're doing when you can! I'd love to hear how the miniature veggies turned out, which were keepers etc. Hope you're having a good summer, and lots of pleasant hours among the flowers and fruits.

Jeannine Anne, I too am so delighted to 'see' you here. I PM'd you after seeing your post on Tatiana's thread and perhaps should have waited a bit. So very sorry to hear about your great loss, that is a huge hole in your heart indeed. Please stop by again to check in, it is very obvious many people have missed you! Did you ever get proper seeds for your Gigandes beans?
