Used steak? that doesn't sound so healthy to consume... again Worth. You need better habits than this, friend! sheesh. you can eat it only once. it can't be used again!

Play on words, it was my other half of the steak I had for supper the night before.
Therefore used.

The other day at the store I saw what they called pork butt steaks.
Boned pork butt sliced into steaks.
It was something like $3.70 a pound or so.
Next to them was a pork butt roast for $1.79 a pound.
Same cut of meat but processed into steaks.
All you have to do is cut the bone out and slice.
Which is easy with a sharp boning knife with practice.
This is how you eat cheap and feed families.

The other day it was lunch and they went someplace to eat as always.
I told them I was having canned ravioli.
Where are you warming it up?
Not warming it up I am eating it out of the can cold.
COLD!!!
Yes cold.
I had rather sit in my truck and eat my less than a dollar lunch.
Other than get out in traffic and pay close to ten dollars for fast food someplace.
Just one time mind you one time doing this allows me to splurge every now and then to get a steak and eat it at home.

The ultimate spatchcocked Cornish game hen.
The herbs and spices are salt black pepper poultry seasoning and olive oil.
Side dish is green beans mixed with canned clam chowder.
This is my Good Friday meal.
Happy Good Friday.
May your life be filled with many blessings.

Worth, that chicken looks delicious! We're getting pounded by those t-storms and under a tornado watch until 5 p.m. and a county south of us has already had a confirmed tornado warning. So, it's been a catch up inside day....we've baked bread and the breads and the desserts for Easter. we made potato salad, coleslaw, deviled eggs, and cranberry salad for Easter. We're doing a large get together tomorrow for extended family and friends and just one for our family Easter. We have the eggs for the kids to dye this evening boiling right now. Gigi is making chicken fettucine alfredo for supper. I think i'll steam some California blend to go with it and call it good. Hubby came home loaded down earlier. He had to be in a large city a county over for work this morning. They have a discount store we visit occasionally when we're in that area. He said they had a truckload meat sale....pork butts, whole boneless rib eyes, steaks, pork chops, chicken, and seafood are in the freezer now...he also hit up Home Depot's and Lowe's. They have had great sales in our area for several weeks now. We've got plants to transplant either Sunday if we want or Monday weather permitting.
