These are two of my new season babies which I'm growing 2 months early. Winter here has been the coldest for ages, hence the plants are a bit behind, size wise.

Many of you will recognize these 'Brad's Atomic Grape', one of the three new cherries I'm trying this year. Definitely different in look and taste. And big for a cherry. The flavor is strange though, like no tomato I’ve ever had. Pickles doesn't care for it and I'm still not sure if I do or don't.

I wasn't sure when they were ripe so after biting into a few that weren't, I started giving them a soft squeeze and trying the ones that felt sort of soft. That did the trick.

Rosella, also one of the newbies, is *dynamite* and the search for a favorite cherry tomato will most likely end with her!

Stump Of The World, one new to me this year. We've already had one and really liked the flavor but this one is probably the biggest tomato I've ever grown. 1 lb 3 oz is probably small to a lot of you (and a weenie to a few of you) )but it's the biggest this garden has ever put out!

About the BAGs... I let them ripen more until most the the green was gold with more reddish streaks and they tasted better. Still not sure of it but maybe it's something that grows on you.

Default Tomato Plant Pictures Reporting For Duty Sir

Very nice. I had Stump put out some big fruit one year. The next year didn't do as well, not much at all. Maybe I try that again next year.

Tomato pics from last week:

Flower set has not been great in this heat. But there are some on there.

And I can still fit through! For now...

These little buggers will make great sauce in a few weeks. They roll right down the mill's throat, no slicing, long shelf life, and are always practically perfect with no blemishes.
