Default Question on damaged plants

Something has eaten the tops of eight of my tomato plants, probably rabbits or deer. Will they recover and grow a new main stem or do I need to replace them?

Thanks for the help.

THey won't grow a new main stem but if the varieties you're growing are indeterminate varieties they will send out suckers, proper name lateral branches, and blossoms and fruit will form on those lateral branches.

I don't see any need to replace them if they are indeterminate varieties.
