Greenhouse floors

I'm getting a greenhouse/potting shed

What should I use for the floor? Pavers, gravel, half and half, something else? Concrete is out..too pricey.
I'm in zone 6b and we get our share of winter weather. And this will be heated some, but will not be considered a hot greenhouse.

Barbee-I have had pea gravel twice, brick once. The brick looks great until it starts to break down. I went back to pea gravel, which was the best for me. Make sure there is a way for the water to leave the greenhouse-you dont want standing water.

My hubby mentioned running tile under whatever we decide for the floor. Is that what you mean?

PS What are your tables made out of?

The problem is, the humidity will eat at the grout, etc. It will look great at first, then breaks down-at least thats my experience.

I meant drainage tile under the gravel base. Regardless of what we put down for a floor.

I have stepping stones and pea gravel in one greenhouse. The pavers are not tight together and are only in the walkway. Just pea gravel where the containers are placed.

In the other greenhouse I have brick pathways and gravel in the center and on one side where the containers are placed and a cedar deck on the other side where the plants are placed. The cedar deck was built to correct the size of the foundation and it works just fine, but if not for that little issue, would have had gravel there too.

We have a sandy, well-draining base under both greenhouses, so the drainage tile is outside to drain off the run-off from the rain coming off the roof.

How about ventilation?

There are 3 fresh air vents in the knee wall. I thought to put those venting fans in each gable. Do you think that's enough?
And then there's a window in the door and also one opposite that on the back wall.

Better ventilation would be auto-hydraulic operated vents near the top ridge.

Hot air collects at the top.

Top near the ridge is what I had in mind. We call them the gable ends. The ones I was looking at had like shutter thingies on them but I don't think they were automatic.
