Default Guard your Tomato plants

Pretty funny article where a kid thought he was stealing a pot plant when it was actually a tomato plant. We need to be vigilant now guarding our tomatoes from renegade pot thieves.

yeah, it is pretty funny,

but then i'm thinking, the kid is 15, not in school, could be home schooled, but i doubt it, and is wearing the same clothes 5 days later. wondering what his life is like.

I'll go one better. The Independence Mo. police dept. a couple years ago were on a city wide pot grower bust and went in to one guys house and arrested him. They conficated his plants. Come to find out he had his tomatoes growing in his house. The police had egg all over there faces on that one.

Just because he was wearing the same cloths 5 days later doesn't mean they hadn't been washed.

I wear the same clothes that I had on 3 days before and they are washed.
Reason, it cuts down on the amount of cloths I have to keep in my room.

I had a cop slam on the brakes and look at my young tomato plants when I first moved here.
Now that same cop drives by and waves at me every day.
Even in town he waves at me.

That's what happens when kids don't know where their food/pot comes from Anytime anyone new is in my house between Feb and May, they always eye my grow set up suspiciously. I tell them those are all my garden veggies and they say "Are you sure there isn't some pot in there?" or "maybe you SHOULD have some pot in there" haha, not with my neighbor, the sheriff with drug sniffing canine!

It is now corrected.
I go from the big keyboard to my laptop keyboard and it is hard to get anything right.
Plus I have 9 inch fingernails.

lurley - I always have people who stop by asking & proclaiming the same. Even w/o the Sungolds. Our local police have been dressing in camies lately & lying in the bushes alongside the frisbee golf field to catch pot smoking frisbee players. I reckon someday they'll pay me a visit. I just wonder - if they arrest me & damage my plants, will the monies I receive have to be declared as income (thus rendering my hobby a business)?

Keith, I teach high school students, and some of them only wear one set of clothes. Some wash, others don't.
