Final Update! I am so excited and pleased to note we no longer have a flooded patio. All that hard work has paid off. We finally got some rain that started at about 4 am yesterday and it's still raining. There has been some extreme heavy downpours throughout it. We have zero standing water on our patio, except that far corner but it drains off quickly and it is a problem because they didn't lay the concrete with drainage in mind. It is just flat without thought to drain the water away. We are very pleased and now I am not worrying about my house flooding when heavy rains come. It is very much a relief to my psyche.

Oh, and the garden has the weed cloth down and all the containers are on it. I still need to do trellises and shade but that will be a whole new thread (with pics) to check out.

Hi again, just a final update on the back patio water issues. We had 6" seamless rain gutters put on the front and back of the house, we really like them and any water issues we had leftover are completely gone. It is so nice to not worry about the rain when it comes down hard and the sound of the rain gutters is so much better than the smaller ones from the hardware store that leaked. So many blessings we have had here.
