"defective seeds"???

Good morning. I purchased some Big Beef varieties and Martha Washington seeds from a well-known and reputable company this year. The Big Beef varieties (F-1 and Plus) and Martha Washington developed spindly thin stems and had major leaf curl issues to the extent that only the very top growth of the plant looks healthy. Should I even bother to plant these? I doubt that this is an environmental issue because all 70 or so of my other varieties grown from seed are normal.
Or course they will have to be buried very deeply if I do plant them, but do you think this is a precursor to an unhealthy and unproductive plant and I should just toss them? I have limited space.

I would not plant them if they are abnormal while others are normal.
