Ha ha! Love the sunshade, better than a potato leaf.
There are always a couple of greenies knocked off here every year, by the oafish lout that clumsily ties up the plants. I put it entirely to oafishness, but in future will anyway try to follow Bill's tip about watering first! Any chance.... I just hate to lose a fruit.
BTW saw your photo thread Anne your plants are gorgeous and I love the trellis setup! Brilliant.

Thanks again for the compliments . Too kind!

Allisa - The red cups are what I had the seedlings growing in before transplant. The variety names are written in sharpie on the side of the cup so I just propped them up (with bamboo skewers through the cup drain holes) next to the plants as I moved along with my transplanting to serve as temporary labels. I really don't need them anymore since I have new labels.

I really need to do a good garden clean-up but it's been too hot to do much more than the essentials . Maybe next week.......

Thank you for the explanation. For some reason I thought that red cups are a mini version of a red mulch film, that promote faster ripening of tomatoes)))

Your garden is very neat and beautiful!
