Your soil looks terrific, Dan. I've had a garden since the late 70's and there's still a lot of trial and error every year- that's part of what keeps it interesting.

Some things do well some years and others don't- so try to take some notes as the season progresses and jot down things you'd like to try or change for next year. Oh, and welcome to the 'ville.
