Few weeks later, it has ripened. It tasted okay I guess. Hopefully, won't happen again, but if it does, I'll try it another way.

I have a small precious one that was two tone green when the plant died.
I put it in a plastic bag with ripe tomatoes.
It is turned and hopefully the seeds will be viable.

Paradajky I am so happy your "Big Green Tomato Ripened".

I will be having "Fried Green Tomatoes" tomorrow for lunch to treat myself as I am able to Farm Full Time with the Heat going down in my neck of the woods tomorrow.
The Heat is Off Amen!!!!!

I just sliced up a Brandywine Cowlicks that I knocked off green a few weeks ago. On the counter (no bag) it ripened and flavor was about 70%. still pretty good and worth saving.
