Anna Russian is a spindly one... I think I once said it must have been AWOL when they were dishing out the foliage rations. But fused leaves do sound different.

Hmmmmm..maybe I'll give them a bit longer. The family coming round to dance on the moon turned into a neighbourhood BYO sausage and mash party. Since I have the flu everyone else gets to do the cooking and I get to be silly outside in the cold.........yeah. Why do I have these dumb ideas.

Anna Russian is definitely spindly, but I have a few in this year that I believe are supposed to make it look like a rainforest.

brandywine (from eden...strain unknown)
anna banana russian
tiny tims in all the window boxes

i'll be re-planting some of the saved seeds from the tomato machine, possibly 'sweetbite'. (the machine itself is entering it's third summer now and still producing!)

i'll be growing out 'stumpy' for the cross hemi research project as well as a few happy f3s.

just waiting now for some seeds in the mail and hope to add to the list then.

Indeed it is! Well spotted, Grub. I'll be growing several plants this year and hope to save tons of seeds to swamp the world with it!

I'm very bad at describing what things taste like. They are either nice, not so nice or superb. You get the drift?

I think Tasmanian Blushing Yellow is an extremely tasty tomato. Would be good to hear others' description. Maybe at the end of this season?

I'd say it's meaty and juicy. Just a nice ratio of meat and juice.
When cut open it has this great reddish blush. Unfortunately, this picture is not that great. Hope you can still get an idea of what its like cut open

I really like it too. Zippy, bold, juicy, flavorful. Fairly productive, will definitely grow again.

Grub, do you know what your zone would best to relate to for the US zones? I'm the edge of 7-8.

Been away and came back to trays of tomato alfalfa... long stringy things... I think I can turn them around...

I think I'm in Zone 9, coastal, no frost, the very best for mater growing.
