Default Park Seeds

Is anyone else still having problems ordering from Parks? I ordered over 3 weeks ago and yesterday got an e-mail saying they are so sorry but everything is backordered!? There was nothing noted as being on backorder when the order was placed. They don't have anything that I can't live without or that I can't get somewhere else, so I guess I'm gonna start looking elsewhere until they can get their act together.

I would not do business with them now.

Whenever you visit my grave,

but also with happiness in your hearts

at the remembrance of my long happy life with you:

No matter how deep my sleep I shall hear you,

and not all the power of death

can keep my spirit

from wagging a grateful tail.

Once "Marketing" and/or "Financing" take over the reins of a company, you can expect everything else to go to "Hell in a hand basket". Every business needs to show a profit, but once greed takes over, service, production and every other aspect of the business seem to fade into oblivion.

Home gardens are increasing at 20% each year. Thanks to their greed, many companies will never reap the rewards of this recent boom. Their timing couldn't have been worse. To maximize their profits in lean years, they have knocked themselves out of the equation during the boom years.

I sure did like their Biosponges to start seeds. Never a problem with rootballs breaking apart when potting up. Oh well..........

I ordered from parks a little bit ago, and it took them almost a month until I got my order!

I love the Bio Dome sponges. They help build strong roots and then you just lift out the sponge without damaging anything.
I have a 100% germination rate and they're up within a couple of days. I'm completely sold on the system.

I guess I have been lucky with Parks. I ordered one last year(Bio Dome) and the top came cracked. They quickly replaced it, no questions asked.
I then ordered more sponges last year and they arrived quickly.
This year, I just ordered another Bio Dome a few weeks ago and it arrived within a week.
Guess I have lucked out!

I meant to add that I haven't really ordered any seed though. This last order, I just threw on one packet of seeds.

there is an old thread about parks and the poor service. i would not buy from them again. it took months to get pea or cuke seed, i forgot which one. both were ordered in december and one of these 2 took until february or march for it to come! constantly back ordered and i was always told when i'd call they were going to ship in another 2 or 3 weeks. enough of that crap.

Yep, it's linked above. This is what I got from them.

Celebrating 143 Years of Excellence

I don't know if they should count any of those recent years in that 143. I can wait a little longer for most of what I ordered but they have some of my eggplant and peppers, most of which I started two weeks ago and my pansy seeds which should definitely be planted by now. I ordered very early so I would have them by now Don't think they are going to be serving any of MY future gardening needs.

Park Seed advertises $2.99 shipping, but when I ordered 4 packets of flower seeds from them, they added $6.99 shipping . Forgetdaboutit! I will shop elsewhere.
