I don't feel so guilty now about having 15 varieties. But I am worried that my neighbor will not invite me back to use some of her land next year when the jungle gets installed in a month or so. At least I'll keep the peppers in my yard. Maybe.

My 2010 list:

Black Cherry
Black Zebra
Fargo
Isis Candy
Purple Russian
Mortgage Lifter
Nyagou
Green Sausage
Ivory Pear
Cherokee Purple
Orange Russian
Banani
Black from Tula
Orange Strawberry
Eva Purple Ball

Peppers:

White Habanero
Bolivian Rainbow
Cascabel
Pablano
Tabasco
Serrano
Jalapeno

You know, I only grow drying tomatos but my husband grows a lot of others and I think Eva Purple Ball is a stand out. great flavor, uniform color and size, dependable and mid season. It is not as popular as it used to be and I have no idea why. It really produces here and seems to take a wide variety of growing conditions. Nice list by the way...When the plants start blocking all of your neighbor's sunlight, might be time to cut back!

Steven,
I have a great recipe for hot sauce, if you would like. From a Mexican friend of mine....
