Default Has anyone tried a light mover?

I'm thinking about adding a light mover to my indoor garden. I was wondering if anyone here has tried that and what they thought of it.

I'm told you can move your light closer, get better penetration and higher yield. I'm having trouble discerning whether that is all marketing fluff or legitimate stuff.

I have used a light mover indoors to cover a larger area and yes you are able to move the light closer to the plants as the heat from the bulb is not so localized. This also allows for greater light intensity to the plants. My advice is to make sure and purchase a good quality mover as you don't want to come home and find your mover stalled or broken and your plants fried from the heat.
