Default My Purple Dog Creek

isn't. What is in my garden is a small salad tomato. Second year from two different sources (reliable). Next year it is getting planted in a different place; coincidently the plant is in the same location. i rotate but since the garden is relatively small and most is taken up by tomatoes there is some overlap.

Special care will be taken so that there is no seed mix-up during seed starting. One out of 32 isn't so bad.

You didn't say whether the reliable sources were commercial or not.

Here's the deal, one of the original people to receive Purple Dog Creek seeds from me accidently got it mixed up with Randy's Cherry Bomb. I ran into a recipient with regards to a different situation and she said Randy's Cherry Bomb was a pink beefsteak and Purple Dog Creek was a large cherry tomato. That's when I learned of the mix up. I'm not saying this is what happened to you, but I thought I'd mention it.

Yes, the sources were both commercial and I trust them as very good seed sellers. It may have been a rogue seed or may have been something I did (what, me make a mistake?, I don't think it is possible). There are maybe ten plants given to friends and family, so I will check to see if they all are small ...don't know the color yet until they ripen. Mine are along the line of Randy's Cherry Bomb rather than PDC.

Thanks for the information.

Always happens after awhile. Not a biggie. My Cherokee Green this year are some kind of red slicer. I won't mention the commercial seller. But they are tasty anyway.

Just picked 4 Randy's Cherry Bombs. Really nice looking.
