Blue Ambrosia and Isis Brandy? I had to stop what I was doing and look those up. They look really nice Robin.

We have peppers sprouting today! Cherry Bombs, Chocolate Cherry Bombs, Shi-Shi-to, and Lautchauer.

I have been thinking on my grow list for about 2 months now and I am no further now then I was two months ago hahaha.

So far I know I am going to grow some cherries some slicers and something for salsa.

about 80 Big Beef pruned to single stem
about 10 cowlicks
about 10 suddeths
about 10 KBX
about ? cherries
about ? salsa
about ? ????

I have been thinking about some determinate but I dont know I grew them in the past and had all the blossoms fall off and got no tomatoes from those plants all that year. I feel safer going the indeterminate route.

I will be dropping about 2000.00 in soil and amendments into my garden soil this year in hopes of turning this sand into something that will produce for years to come.

2015 grow list

Main crop, slicers and canning
4 Big Beef F1 repeat
I grow these every year.

2 Donna F1 repeat
The last of my stash of these seeds.

2 Break O' Day first time
Hoping these can replace Donna next year.

2 Sioux repeat
Revisiting after several years, also with Dona in mind.

2 JD's Early Black repeat
Another every year tomato, my earliest and my favorite for sandwiches.
Native Texan

2 EM Champion first time
Extreme heat ends my season early and makes it tough to successfully raise large varieties. Hoping these large, early hearts buck that trend.

Sauce
4 Chico III repeat
Very happy with these, but I'm thinking about trying Chico Grande for better size.
I would very much like to hear from anyone who has grown both.
Both Native Texans

2 Costoluto Genovese first time
Brokenbar's description of these was irresistible.

Dwarf
2 Summer Sunrise first time
My wife wants a yellow like Grandma used to grow for her. Hope she likes this one.

2 Dwarf Purple Heart first time
Just curious, I like blacks and hearts, plus the picture at Tatiana's got me.

Snacks & Juice
2 Juliet F1 repeat
My wifes favorite.

2 Porter repeat
Trying a different strain of these this year that is said to be a little larger and even more vigorous.
Another Native Texan

About half of these will go in the ground, the rest will go in 25 gallon cattle supplement tubs.
Theres only two of us, if I ever have a really good year we will be inundated.

My 2015 tomato list is very small for me because my gardening/canning time may be quite limited. So as not to get overwhelmed, I'm only growing a few faves(*) and the newly acquired non-paste types, which I'm very excited about.

Belle Maurinoise Jaune
Elgin Pink*
Gigant Kuby
Hippie Zebra
Moya*
Muddy Mamba
Negrillo de Almoguera*
Not Purple Strawberry
Pamplemousse De Grand Pere
Rebel Yell
Rozella
Sungold*
Wild Thyme

I have my seeds and then some, but not making my list yet, cause I feel like crap. Was in hospital (My first) on 12/19-12/22 for facial shingles with cellulitis. I was off work 10 days altogether and feel worse now than I did then. Pain, itch, creepy crawlies, burning, jumping, numbness, sore lip, teeth etc etc. Shingles are for the birds, but there are no birds I hate tha much. So, if I feel better n April, I will plant seeds and post my final list. Even had them on eye lid and nose. Bah humbug

I enjoy reading everyone's lists, especially when tomato seed sowing for me is over 2 months away still!

2015 is going to be the year of the black tomato in my garden. I grow a lot of other things besides tomatoes, but I'll just list tomatoes (* indicates new--which is most of the blacks since I want to compare them to Black Krim which I have grown for many years now). And the dwarf varieties will be whatever I am assigned--but will be regrowing dwarf Vince's Haze again either way (for the project if it is continued or for myself).

Sungold F1 (2 plants)
Experiment Yellow PL cherry
Black Krim
Mikado Black*
Margaret Curtain*
Black from Tula*
Carbon Copy*
Cherokee Purple* (Big Cheef lost out to Cherokee Purple in this year's trial--maybe next year)
Wisconsin 55
Dwarf Vince's Haze
Dwarf Project Assignment 1* (2 plants)
Dwarf Project Assignment 2* (2 plants)
