Default June ended as it started: wet wet wet!

We have had a very wet June this year, and I am amazed that the tomato leaves are still green, and only showing their dissatisfaction with some leaf curl, which goes away if there is a day or two without rain.

This morning I was wondering if I was growing mushrooms in addition to tomatoes. Here is a picture of a bunch of mushrooms seeking refuge under a protective tomato branch.

We had so many boomers in late May - the backyard was littered with them so I started throwing them into the compost bin: good fertilizer come fall!
