Yes, any GWR with a clear epidermis will stay green with perhaps a tad of pink at the blossom end, while those with a yellow epi will show an amber blush starting at the blossom end and sometimes that amber blush goes all the way up to the stem end, depending on the variety and the weather.

For me true GWR's show no stripes at all, just my opinion.
