My bad! I planted out on April 2, 2017, about a week later than Gardeneer. So we are sitting at about 65 days or so with my GGWT. I had some ripe Early Girls at 53 days. I would estimate my GGWT fruit are about 4-5 oz.

Yeah. Darin. But 7 out of 12 that I planted around March 12 got killed by the freeze on March 16, 17 ??. The ones that survived (5) were mostly half dead.
So I did my bulk of planting starting March 22 up until April 10th.
Of those that survived ( ML, Hillbilly, Brandy Boy, BFBS, AN ) fruited much later. None have produced ripe fruits up until now except Brandy boy.

Sounds reasonable. I remember you lost some during that week. I think I waited based on your loss- sorry about that. But back to GGWT- you simply must grow some of these! Good sized, many over 1 lb., great fruit set, and pretty impervious to diseases. The plant reminds me of Cherokee Purple in looks and habit. Taste is superlative....

GGWT is supposed to be midseason.

Mine were midseason, but they may have been a cross.
