Default sad passing of randy sine

known as wv tomato man, he was a giant in my life. a guru of all things tomato and his loss is a communal tragedy. he introduced me to PURPLE DOG CREEK and TREES BOTTOM YELLOW and many, many other varieties. if you knew him, you know what i mean when i say that the tomato world has lost an exceptional gardener and human being.

I am so sorry we have lost yet another exceptional, knowledgeable soul. May heaven surround him with the loveliest of tomatoes and flowers.

Wow - I got to meet Randy a few years ago at an event I was speaking at - it was wonderful, as always, to meet a fellow tomato enthusiast. I found the Obit - very little info. Was it unexpected or sudden? I hadn't heard from him in some time.

So sad. Thanks for sharing the news.
