I grew it this year. Really nice sweet flavor, plant is indestructible, and very productive. After losing half my garden to bacterial wilt and early blight, and this thing is just thriving, at 7 feet.

I have been very pleased with Chocolate Stripes this year. First time growing but very disease resistant, productive, early and tasty. I grew it planning to compare to Pink Berkeley Tye Die but those plants have only produced one megabloom tomato each which is just not enough in my books to keep around for a second year. Chocolate Stripes will be back and is my most productive slicer along with Black from Tula and Cosmonaut Volkov.

Thanking you Kindly for the reply MissTee ,as mentioned i am trying to put together a list for Next years Autum plantout for this region.
Always looking at Variouse Tomato Varieties , their looks and taste as well as vunerabillty to Diseases.
This Year apart from Blight ive been fortunate , Fruit have been a tad late to ripen due to Cold as well as wind chill but they eventually get there and gives me a chance for a taste test see if they go into the seed collection or not..

Done quite well for me here Volvo. Big healthy plants with a good number of solid meaty fruit. Has put in a repeat appearance a couple of times. If you want seed added to the next lot, just say so, should be some in the shed

I've grown them here in 2011 & 2018 and found them a great tomato taste wise. You won't be disappointed with them.

Another vote of confidence for Chocolate Stripes-an excellent meaty producer and a beautiful tomato both in appearance and taste!

You might want to prepare her for the invasion Volvo. Package today contains a couple of the strawberries, 7 of KarenO's creations, not happy with the seed I saved last year from True Colours, but you have everything else I have received to this point, Chocolate Stripes, a couple of sauce tomatoes and 1 or 2 others

Chocolate Stripes is more copper/golden hued than mocha splash. It also generally produces large tomatoes overall. In person, mocha splash definitely has a more pink mocha like expression. I will agree, I love both of them!
