Lol... I know the outie. And what about those strange tomato noses and boobs and willies? Strangely, virtually no malformation this year at all... so I'm going with environmental.

Neighbor across the street gave me this as a joke this past summer :

I've not had any stitching, belly-buttons, or "noses" ...
BER & Foliage problems ? Plenty ~ lol ~

So I guess we're "going-with" genetic; but environmental conditions can bring out these blemishes ...
